Please find attached a file containing excerpts from RRRHOA Board meeting minutes and newsletters concerning the 18375 Spruce Rd drug treatment facility. These excerpts summarize the discussions that have taken place and the actions that the RRRHOA Board has taken. I've included excerpts going back to Dec, 2013 as the RRRHOA Board began investigating and responding to the issue of a drug treatment facility in our community and ramifications of the Americans with Disabilities Act with the Mountain Shadow Recovery facility.
Note that in mid-June 2014 the RRRHOA Board also sent out an email to everyone on our RRRHOA email distribution list advising that "... the next meeting regarding the county's rules on group homes is currently scheduled for Tuesday June 17 at 9am. This is the county commissioners meeting where the results of the planning commission will be discussed.. The meeting is to be held at Centennial Hall Auditorium, 200 South Cascade Avenue. Please check the link below before attending in case there are last minute changes to the time, place or agenda. We have requested that our lawyer attend this meeting as our representative, but having residents attend can have more impact. The lawyer has strongly recommended that residents attend the meetings and/or contact our county commissioner Darryl Glenn directly with comments either written, by email or by phone."
In addition I've also attached a copy of the letter that was US mail sent to all RRRHOA residents in Dec 2013 and was asked about at our last meeting.
