President Kelly McGuire checked on the previously mentioned signs and they could have been picked up today, but weather and road conditions were such that the School District and many businesses were closed, so it was prudent to retrieve them at a later date under better road conditions.

{tab=New Business}New Business:

President McGuire attended the Saturday NEPCO meeting and stated that there were four presenters.  He will send minutes of the meeting to all members and Jase Campbell for posting as soon as he receives them.  The one point that was stressed in the meeting was a new Colorado law requiring all Homeowners Associations to register with the State.  Details are sketchy at this time, but Jim Bergeron will research the matter.

Director Jim Zalmanek suggested a “fire path” between the west side of the Ranch that abuts National Forest land and is willing to help create such a path, but the question was raised about encroaching on the National Forest land.  Mr. Zalmanek agreed to contact the Forest Service about this issue.

The date of having dumpsters for the annual Ranch cleanup was set for 10, 11 and 12 June 2011.  Shiloh Pines, Sundance Estates and Forest View Estates will be contacted to see if those residents would like to participate and share the cost of the dumpsters, or perhaps pay an individual fee of $10 to $25 to dump instead of sharing the cost.

Board members were asked to contribute articles for the HOA newsletter that will be sent to residents in March.  The articles are to be brought to the February Board meeting.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1929 on a motion by Fred Lanyon, seconded by Jim Zalmanek and carried unanimously.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be at 1900 on Monday, 14 February 2011 at the Tri Lakes Cares building, 235 Jefferson Street in Monument.

Respectfully submitted,

Jim Bergeron

Secretary/Recorder, RRRHOA
