BEAR AWARE

BEAR AWARE!
There is a clever bear entering cars and attempting homes in the area. I have heard from 3 residents of 6 incidents of the bear opening car doors. resident actually watch the bear go from car to car trying car latches.
1. Lock all car doors, day or night.
2. Leave no food, deodorizers, or other lovely smelling items in your car.
3. If you have a handle for a door opener to your home, Lock them. The bear is trying those.
4. Bring in Bird Feeders and Humming Bird feeders at night.
5. Don't put our garbage cans until the morning of garbage pick-up. Try to secure the lid to your trash can or have a bear proof can.
This problem will only get worse until the Bears tucks in for a winter's nap. If the Bear can continue to find food, the hibernation cycle may not kick in.
